Hot Summer

So the temperature outside lately has been banging out at around 100 degrees which means it is about 80 plus or minus 10 degrees inside my house. This makes things mostly miserable. You know the kind of heat where you don't even want to move for fear it might leave you with not one ounce of energy.

On another note, I have thrown myself into an overload mode with academic requirements. I am currently talking Calculus 3 at Clark in the morning and QA with Lab in the afternoons and evenings at Portland State. Throw some work in the scholarly sandwich and you have got one exhausted me.

I will be manning the homestead on my own this next week as April goes on her yearly vacation to Florida. So that will mean the sandwich will be dripping mustard as well as the lettuce falling onto the plate. I will most likely lose a few pounds because doggie exercise will be my sole responsibility.

The summer however started off with a partying bang. The cruise to Alaska on the MS Oosterdam was very very cool. Cruising is fun - but expensive. I will continue on a rabid pace for two more weeks, then life will calm down as bit as the lab portion of my QA class will be over. Hopefully then I will be able to publish some vacation albums and work on scrap booking my trip and maybe a few other things while I am at it.

Until then, keep on keeping on, and please please please - don't forget to dream.
